Great range of nice cask beer, lots of keg beer. Delicious pizza with good quality dough. Occasional live music (today was a brilliant chap doing ukulele covers). The mulled gin is well worth trying.

Fabulous addition to the Ramsbottom scene brought to you by Mike & Amanda of Casked Rawtenstall. Great selection of Cask and Keg beers with loads of, mainly local, Gins . Great Pizza too and half price on Wednesdays. Great staff, great drinks, what more could you want? They are card only which makes a lot of sense these days, though it might put off a few of the Cash is King dinosaurs. But nobody will miss them anyway.

The latest addition to the Ramsbottom beer scene. Following on similar lines to its sister bar in Rawtenstall its an excellent venue to spend an hour sampling the many craft & cask ales on offer. There is usually something to suit everyone's taste, including 5 casks ales (which usually includes a stout, a traditional bitter and two or three golden or hoppy varieties.) There are also up to 15 x keg craft ales on offer. This place is certainly worth a visit & I'm sure will not disappoint. Already it's becoming a regular venue for those who like to combine steam trains & beer as its only a short stroll from the ELR station. Mike (the owner) has a sound knowledge of the local micro brewery scene and his choice of beers reflect that. Overall this is yet another great asset for the town. On a final note, and this is what usually let's most establishments down, the toilets. But not in this case, they were spotless! On findings to date I'd give this a resounding 5 stars! Re-reviewed on 17th Sept 2023 and the bar continues to maintain its high standards - My only observation, despite efforts by the owners to deaden the sound, the internal accoustics are not the best & so it can get very noisy at busy times. Re-reviewed as of 24/1/24: The owners closed the bar for the first week in January (as part of their annual refurbishment schedule) I'm pleased to report that all the toilets recieved a fresh coat of paint and that minor repairs to decor & flooring have also been done. (It now seems to be normal practice) As on previous occasiions, the bar was faultless.
